Assisted Living
For individuals who require minor to advanced assistance with ADL’s (activities of daily living). ADL’s include dressing, bathing, toileting, eating, grooming, transferring/walking and medication management. Assisted living communities promote residence to live independently as long as possible.
Communities have 24 hours 7 days a week nursing care staff.
These communities serve 3 meals a day and focus on hydration for their residents
Assisted Living communities promote socialization by offering activities around fitness, entertainment, outings, cognitive sustainability, religion and art.
Living communities offer semi-private, studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom apartments. These apartments typically do not come with full kitchens as meals are prepared and served restaurant style every day.
Most individuals family members make the decision for their aging loved one to move into a living community due to safety reasons. Dad may be forgetting to take his meds, mom is a fall risk or isolation and depression.
